David On Mission
“My mission visit to the school was a mixed experience. The dilapidated infrastructure and understaffed school of four teachers for over 200 pupils left me feeling sad. However, the joy, excitement, and renewed hope among the pupils, the teachers, and an elderly community member present when we gave out school bags and supplies was heartening. On the second day, I conducted a workshop with the church leaders in the community on effective leadership and volunteer appreciation, which was well-received. The positive feedback and questions were overwhelming, and I felt fulfilled and joyful, like the person who uses their talent and eagerly tells their master. I believe my work honoured and glorified God.”
